What is Newscape?

Newscape is a basic garden maintenance service for New Charter Housing Trust tenants. We currently maintain just under 250 gardens every month. The service is run jointly by St Peter’s Partnerships and New Charter Housing Trust. Newscape also provides 12 trainee positions a year for unemployed people who live in the St Peter’s ward of Ashton-under-Lyne. All of our trainees attend our free bespoke training course, Learnscape, which is run by St Peter’s Partnerships’ employment and learning service St Peter’s People.
