More great news for young people in St. Peter’s ward! St. Peter’s Youth (SPY) has successfully obtained an AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) license. This will allow young people to safely experience exciting and stimulating outdoor activities. |

It's official... The charitable organisation based in St. Peter's ward of Ashton-under-Lyne has been selected as a winner of the prestigious title Best Practice in Community Regeneration Project 2009 in the British Urban Regeneration Association’s Awards. |

St Peter’s Partnerships providing St Peter's Partnerships, Ashton-under-Lyne has been chosen alongside two other community organisations, to pilot a new initiative proposed by the CREATE Consortium to the Department of Works & Pensions, the Community Allowance scheme. This proposal will allow community organisations to pay local people who receive benefits for work that strengthens their neighbourhoods without these payments disrupting their benefits. |
